Early in the morning, transfer from your hotel to the train station to take the train that will take us to Km 104, the starting point of the hike.
Start of the trek. After crossing the suspension bridge over the Urubamba River and visiting the archaeological site of
Chachabamba, we will climb to the splendid archaeological complex of Wiñayhuayna, perched on the impressive mountains
overlooking the Urubamba Valley.
During the journey, we will also admire the typical vegetation of the rainforest. Then, we will visit the
archaeological ruins of Intipunku (Sun Gate) and arrive at Machu Picchu.
We will then begin a guided tour via circuit 1B
lasting approximately 90 minutes. Please note that this circuit and the allocated time do not allow
visits to the ruins on the other side of the Citadel.
Then, we will take the bus down to the village of Aguas Calientes
to spend the night at a hotel that can be booked separately from our pages.
